Hi there, Mom and Dad. First, I want to tell you how grateful I am for all that you have done for me. There are more times than I can count that you have been there for me, and I'd like to return the favor a little and show you what I have been up to during my first semester at college, from academics to what I do in my free time, and the friendships I have made here at WSU. Next, I want you to know how my classes are going so far. As you can see, I have put some of the work we have done on a different page called Composition Work. If you want to see the projects I have done in composition this semester, I am most proud of the film review I did because I loved the film I chose, and that helped me to do very well on that assignment. Also, I learned how to write a film review, and this helps a great deal with improving my writing. I'm adding a link to my film review so you can access it from this part of my portfolio. ViewAttachment . As for the rest of my classes, I am doing well; I am passing all of them, and I am very happy with how I have done during this first semester of college. I intend to continue to improve and do well next semester.

Now, let me tell you about what I do in my free time here at WSU. I like to go to the gym every now and then with my roommate. We sometimes go to a class, or other times we just go and do something on our own, and it's a lot of fun. Also, we attended bingo as well, and that is always a good time because everyone there is in a good mood, and it's just such an enjoyable event on campus to do. Lastly, I want you to know about the friends I have made here on campus. First, there is Alyssa, whom you guys know very well because she has been my friend since kindergarten, and we have been best friends ever since. She is also my roommate, and you guys like that because it makes living on campus easier for me. Then there are my friends Katy and Addison; we study together for this class, and it was so much fun becoming friends with them. Then there are my friends Brooke and Brenden. We worked together on a group project for an FYJ class, and we became very close through that. However, Brooke and I had already become friends before that, as we were paired up together earlier in that class, and we just naturally became friends because we share a similar sense of humor. All in all, these are just a few things I have done here at WSU, and I wanted you guys to see what I have been doing in my classes as well as my free time this semester.
